Hotel Emily

We had a room overlooking the monument on the 3rd floor. Free parking under the hotel which is a plus. No obvious heating or cooling in the rooms but we were comfortable. The rooms - especially the bathrooms were well lit. Water pressure in the shower was excellent but other people flushing toilets made the temperature soar or cool momentarily. Wifi speeds and reliability was exceptional. The TVs were a mystery; no amount of inputs from the remotes seemed to make much difference. We reserved via Expedia and the check in process was lengthy and unnerving as it appeared that the hotel had no idea we were arriving - then we I extended by one night I spent a good 20 minutes waiting while the staff discussed the issue. Apparently the Expedia extension was for a lesser room although it appeared to be for the same type of room. Ultimately the hotel charged less for the extended one night than Expedia had (we paid at the hotel). The restaurant was very good and reasonably priced.

The stay was very good, the rooms comfortable and very hygienic, the view splendid. The attention of the concierge (morning shift) very good attentive at all times. Excellent buffet service. Very good service from the waiters. Our stay was very pleasant. We would return without hesitation.

Staff tried to be very friendly, but there was something which was not feeling like real service coming from heart. Near by is the clock tower and big market place which is worth to visit. You can buy almost all You need from there. from clothes to fruits and meat. Nice Mwxican market.
