Hotel Suites Bernini

We arrived at this place because of the proximity to the CAS (I renewed visa) is only two blocks away...... we stayed 4 nights which was an unforgettable experience, we took advantage of my wife and I to walk around. Restaurants everywhere “a stone’s throw” ...... as for the suite that touched us.... Wow ! On the 12th floor, extraordinary view and especially the impeccable service of the two receptionists, Lizbeth and Paola who attended us with professionalism and human quality.

If you go to your appointment at the CAS, the hotel is literally a 3-minute walk away. The hotel is somewhat old but the rooms are remodeled, the hallways are dark but they have sensors to turn on the lights. The room has a kitchen, refrigerator, and full bathroom.

The pictures are not what you get. The room Was just ok. The mirrors had a dirty film which indicates they had not been cleaned in months. The windows had no screen and were difficult if not impossible to open. The room is stuffy and hot. The only reprieve was a fan that was so noisy and inadequate. We had to shout to hear one another. The worst part is that the hotel seems to cater to middle eastern guests who are working in the city. They are very loud and would keep their room doors open and would talk in the hall on their cells and play music very loud. They were cooking with curry and the halls reeked of food. We asked to move to another floor. That was better but the room conditions were still far from acceptable. When I complained about the guests behavior and lack of courtesy, I could tell right away that no action would be taken to quiet the other guests.They were the ones catered to. I was the one who would be inconvenienced to repack and move. Because it was in a very nice location,close to very nice restaurants, we decided to stay. The hotel had a weird feel to it so I would never leave any valuables in the roon. The elevators were very slow and small which put me on the verge of a panic attack. The only good thing is the staff was friendly and the location was excellent. I would never stay here again nor would I recommend. Guests beware.
