Very far from being a true all-inclusive. Our experience was quite disappointing. We were a family of 15 people and these were the main problems we encountered: • Check-in: We arrived around 9:00 a. m. and were informed that check-in would not be until 2:00 p. m., something they never told us when making the reservation. After insisting, they gave us the rooms around 11:00 a. m. "as a favor," but even so we lost a large part of the first day and had to go out to eat on our own. • Unfriendly staff: On several occasions we received responses like "it's not possible" without any explanation or alternative. Many times they simply ignored us when we asked for help. • Impossible to spend time together as a family: They never allowed us to put tables together so that the 15 of us could eat together, even though there was space available. During the entire stay we had to split up into groups. • Too many restrictions: You couldn't enter the restaurants in pool clothes, even if you just wanted to grab a snack. It was mandatory to wear footwear, shorts or a dress and, in the case of men, a shirt with sleeves. Furthermore, they did not allow taking absolutely anything from the snack area to the pool or taking a snack to the restaurant, so it was impossible to continue spending time with the family while you were eating. • Food below expectations: We found dried-out food, sticky rice, burnt meat, and very little variety. In addition, there were many birds inside the dining room approaching the fruit and food without the staff doing anything to drive them away. • Old and neglected facilities: Although the hotel looks good in the photographs, in person several areas look old, poorly maintained, and generally convey a sense of neglect. • Safety: The adult pool has a very slippery slope. My mom suffered a fall and the staff's response was only to say that they "would look into it." Furthermore, during our stay there was a crocodile sighting on the beach, since the hotel is located next to an estuary where these animals live. • Rooms: The windows remain sealed, the safe works with a padlock that no one explains you must request at the front desk, and they only provide one key card per room. If the card gets wet or is placed near a cell phone, it becomes deprogrammed and you have to return to the front desk to reactivate it. • Many services with extra cost: Although the hotel is sold as all-inclusive, the spa, some restaurants, and other services require payment. Even to reserve the included restaurants, they required one person per room to show up, unnecessarily complicating the process. • Drinks and cleanliness: The drink service did not start until 11:00 a.m., and we observed that in some bars the glasses were only quickly rinsed between one customer and another, without proper washing. The only thing we really highlighted was the attention from the kayak area staff, who were very kind and attentive. In general, we feel that the hotel does not offer the experience it promises as "all-inclusive." Between the service, the restrictions, the quality of the food, the condition of the facilities, and the organization, our stay fell far below our expectations. We would not return nor would we recommend it.
