Playa Los Arcos Hotel Beach Resort & Spa

The hotel was beach front within walking distance to attractions. It was very pretty and well maintained. Our room was quaint and cleaned daily. The aircondition didn't seem to be cooling as well the last couple of nights but not uncomfortable so we didn't report it. The sheets and pillow cases were clean but had stains on them. One of the pillow cases had such a bad looking stain that we asked they replace it and they did without hesitation. We got the all-inclusive so the food was fairly good considering it was a buffet there was some things better than others. The drinks were all good and definitely did not skimp on the liquor. We enjoyed the adults only pool which we utilize a couple of days. The staff is all helpful and friendly. Well definitely stay there again if ever in Puerto Vallarta

Hotel was fine. We upgraded to the premium room and think it was worth it for the newer bathroom and interior. Beach chairs (and pool chairs) were a bit confusing and seems everyone blocks them early in the morning. Once arriving at the beach, there was a row of chairs. So, we went to the pay area 500/peso each minimum. As we left hours later, the hotel staff was putting in more umbrellas and chairs out for guests in new rows. I wish we could have had that option. Be ready you will approached by 100 people selling things if you go sit on the beach (no joke). So, don’t think you can take a nap or relax too much out there with the ongoing sales. No one will bother you if you are in the hotel pool area. Didn’t try the food, so I can’t make a comment on that. Housekeeping staff was very kind. The two bottles of water daily were very appreciated. Make sure you don’t lose your wristband or towel card or it is a fee. Overall I’d say your paying for your proximity to the beach. Sunset from the jacuzzi was amazing. It was a little annoying being asked if we wanted Coke, Molly or weed at the corner of the hotel. But, obviously there must be a market as many times as I was asked. I think if you had a whole family group there I wouldn’t have been asked. Since it was me and my brother in law, we must look like we were looking for/needing it. lol.
