The hotel/resort in itself was very nice. The service was good although it could have been better. We had most of our issues at the buffet, Don Rafael. We were continually seated in the back which was fine since we were a group of 9. 3 of the 6 days we attended the restaurant we were seated, given drinks & no one returned. On Tuesday 7/21/26 my family & I stood outside the restaurant waiting for another member of our group an employee there eyeballed us the whole time we stood outside. Once ready to enter I was told i had to dry off. There was minimal water on me so I wiped off as requested & got ready to enter again I was stopped by the same employee saying I couldn’t enter with wet clothes although they were minimally wet. I left to change completely. Went back to where my family was & 20 minutes or so go by & I saw a lady & her family seated behind us. She was sopping wet. I later found out this employees name was Delly. She was awful & if she had a problem she should have addressed it while she stared me down. Moral of the story I am a woman of color that was told I couldn’t enter the restaurant with minimally wet clothes yet a Caucasian woman could enter wet all over. Interesting! Other than the incidents at the restaurant everything else was good, the shows, aqua gym with Mimi & Eric & the beach! I would suggest a variety of music & not Hispanic based songs. I would also suggest leading with English & following with Spanish when speaking to a crowd. A lot of the English spoken was broken English & was hard to keep up with after the Spanish speaking.
