Tropicana Hotel Puerto Vallarta

We have been here for 6 days now and the hotel is loving it! We were lucky enough to get a renovated room and this one is top notch! Large bathroom with spacious walk-in shower hand shower and rain shower. Double sink. Spacious wardrobe with automatic lighting when you open a door. Nice beds. Refrigerator drawer especially for cans and bottles in dresser. Nice balcony with seating. Cleaning every day, clean towels and bed linen. The rest of the hotel is idd somewhat outdated but very clean. Nice swimming pool. Unlike the revieuws I had suffered, we had cots free every day even though it was still in the afternoon. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice place to have breakfast outside. Breakfast itself is a bit meagre. Furthermore, no entertainment in the hotel for this you can go through the side corridor to the adjacent hotel but we have not used this yet because in the vicinity of the hotel plenty to do. The hotel is in a prime location! All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The hotel is written as an 8 but it is really a 4. We arrived and got the basic room as we would not be staying much in our room. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great! The rooms needed updating. The pool and beach were great!
