Villa Varadero

They organized our wedding and it was a very rewarding experience. Professionalism and kindness from all the staff.

I would not recommend staying at Villa Varadero. Calling this a “resort” is incredibly misleading. At best, this feels like a 2-star hotel. The online photos are deceptive. The property heavily advertises the newer tower, but what they don’t make clear is that this tower is actually across the street from the main hotel. The main hotel itself is old, outdated, poorly maintained, and nothing like what the pictures lead you to expect. The rooms and common areas felt dirty, run-down, and neglected. Everything looked cheap, worn out, and in desperate need of renovation. The food was one of the worst parts of the experience. Meals were consistently burnt, overcooked, low quality, and honestly disgusting. There was little variety, and the food felt more like cafeteria food than resort dining. To make matters worse, the reception staff had terrible attitudes. They were dismissive, rude, and unhelpful, making the experience even more frustrating. What honestly shocked me most was how different this experience was from many of the positive reviews online. Based on my stay, those reviews did not reflect reality at all. Overall, this was a complete waste of money. Misleading advertising, poor conditions, terrible food, and bad service. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

Everything was excellent, the food was quite decent, the beach was very clean, everything was very good. The treatment from the staff was quite good. Especially the treatment and service from the waiter Héctor in the afternoon at the Mural restaurant; he provided us with excellent service, we would definitely return!
