Recognition of Excellence and Sense of Belonging – City Express by Marriott EBC Reform After the stay I shared with my partner at their Havre 21 property, it is imperative for me to highlight the work of those collaborators who transformed our visit into an experience of excellence. Reception (Alberto and Geraldine): For his professionalism, resolve and a vocation of genuine service. Hospitality in Puerta (Mr. Jaime and his companion): For being the faces of trust and kindness that define the first impression of the hotel. Housekeeping (Mrs. Veronica and her companion): For maintaining an extraordinary standard of neatness and a deeply appreciated care of detail. People with this level of delivery are the ones who really make a brand great. Their work not only made our stay more pleasurable, but elevates the prestige of City Express by Marriott. Great location, quiet place and the room had good soundproofing so you can rest. The place stays warm without the cold at night and if it is hot in the day has its own air conditioning. The room is small but is excellent for those going for business or work. Breakfast was good, mostly Mexican cuisine. One recommendation is that TV allow content from your cell phone or laptop.

While the hotel staff were lovely and accommodating to make things right, it took a few tries. Coming off of the F1 weekend, the City Express EBC 222 Reforma was unprepared to welcome a second weekend wave of travels for Day of the Dead weekend. It took moving to three rooms to get a space that was decent. The previous rooms were not cleaned and one had a drainage issue. There was also a lack of hot water a couple of mornings. I understand things happen that are beyond a person’s control, but it was frustrating for it to be more than one infraction for a 3 day stay.
