Hotel Villa Corona del Mar

LOUSY, LOVELY AND TOTALLY ABANDONED, THE NEW ADMINISTRATOR CHARGED ME MORE THAN 2,500 PESOS FOR ONE NIGHT, HANDED ME A SHEET WHERE HE CHARGED ME UP TO TAXES FOR LODGING, THIS MAN LIVES THERE WITH THE WHOLE FAMILY AND I FELT MORE IN A NEIGHBORHOOD THAN IN A HOTEL, CHILDREN CRYING AND RUNNING IN DIAPER, WOMAN YELLING AND COOKING AND TAKING THERE THE WHOLE FAMILY ALONG WITH THE ADMINISTRATOR... THE POOL WAS HALF FULL AND THE WATER GREEN, AMONG MANY OTHER DETAILS OF LOUSY ATTENTION. I PAID HIM IN ADVANCE THREE DAYS AND TWO NIGHTS AND ONLY HELD OUT FOR ONE DAY, WHEN REQUESTING DEVOTION OF MONEY HE SCAMMED ME AND CHARGED ME A LOT ABUSIVELY. THE PITY WAS AN EXCELLENT PLACE WHILE MR. VICTOR Q.E.P.D.

This place must have been amazing before as the "bones" are amazing. Victor will do anything he can for you. But since it is being torn down for a condo before the end of the year the new owners are putting absolutely nothing back into the property Based upon their lack of concern for this property I would never consider purchasing anything from them. Best recommendations is to stay away

We had stayed at Villa 5 yrs prior and it was lovely. Great hotel, wonderful breakfast, engaging staff, clean, all you could want. We returned expecting the same, it is now an absolute dump. Everything has gone by the wayside. We couldn’t stand the rancid, mildew smell of the room, I was afraid of sleeping there for one night. The next morning we walked down the beach and found another accommodation which was wonderful. We lost all the money we had paid, we could not stay there another day. I could list the problems from linens, dirty, dusty rooms, rusty pitted furnishings, nothing in the am for coffee, I didn’t want to touch anything! Please take this advice and stay away
