DO NOT BOOK HERE! I STAYED HERE ALMOST TWO MONTHS FOR BUSINESS! FOR THE PRICE, LOCATION, AND AMENITIES, YOU CAN DO MUCH BETTER! THEY HAVE HIGHER PRICES THAN TULUM RIGHT NOW! THEY USE THE POOL TO LURE YOU IN AND BEHIND THE VAIL YOU'LL FIND ICE COLD SHOWERS, POOR FOOD, NO SAFE, NO FRIDGE, NO DRESSER, OR A WORKING TV! YOU GET A BED, A COLD SHOWER, AC, AND A SPACIOUS ROOM... THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE PAYING FOR! We had FOUR other hotels we were operating out of. This was the second worst, with the worst being Posada Real. Villasol, across the street, had it all. Better food, better accommodations and even affordable ATV and scooter rental right in the lobby, and the bar was ALWAYS open! We spent more money and time at Villasol than we did at the hotel we were staying at! Could have been money spent at Aldea instead! I HAVE BEEN TO FIVE STATES IN MEXICO AND HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED MORE POOR INTERNET OR WIFI THAN AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT! I COULDN'T SEND AN EMAIL OR EVEN PLACE A FIVE MINUTE PHONE CALL TO LOVED ONES TO LET THEM KNOW I WAS OKAY! I couldn't even do payroll or pay bills without physically leaving the hotel and going to another one! If you have to do ANYTHING that requires two factor authentication, don't even consider it while in this establishment... YOU WILL NOT GET IT DONE! The wifi works in ten minute increments. At night and when everyone is using it, you can forget about it. I had better results during the day, but it was EARLY in the morning I had to set alarms and wake up to handle what I had to. If I tried to do it any other time, it was a massive headache and or not doable. I have no issue staying somewhere older as the place has character, it's clean, and it can be cozy from time to time. But unless you're staying on the first floor, you WILL walk a considerable amount to get to and from your room. There is only one staircase at the opposite end of the hallway. If staying on the second floor, you will need to walk around 1/4 of a mile to get to your room every time. The poor food quality at the hotel wouldn't necessarily be an issue if there were food accommodations around, but there aren't. Familia Time is about a 12 minute walk, or you could walk to Las Palmas for Pizza for 15 minutes, or you could walk further to Cafecito for 20 minutes. If it was past 10pm, you're out of luck unless you take a cab into town. This is why Villasol became even more valuable. If this hotel could just provide quality food for a good price that was open late it would be much more worth the price. I had hot water sporadically in my room. At night past 10pm it was rare to have hot water. Sometimes in the morning it would still be ice cold. I went back and forth with management who kept assuming I was not turning the left knob on the faucet enough. I kept doing what they told me and I even got videos of it not working. There was even an occasion where the management very rudely and forcefully suggested I move into another room if I was "unhappy" with the water in my current room. I just moved on and dealt with it after that. But if I was paying to be there I'd be furious at how management chose to handle that. It's VERY tough to be somewhere far away from home and trying to get comfortable and the management is arguing with you and calling you a liar as opposed to fixing the issue! Several other crew members as well as my girlfriend all experienced the same issue of sporadically having hot water in their rooms. Despite the issues I may have had with the hotel and room, that doesn't mean there aren't great people who work here. If it weren't for the staff throughout my stay, I would have surely left. I want to shoutout the people who were AMAZING! Jakob at the front desk was my guy! Cool, calm, collected, and he always helped me. He was patient and accommodating from start to finish. Ana, who works in housekeeping is the best of the best! She was usually the first and last person to greet me every morning and every evening. She's a hard worker and always had a smile on her face and she was so patient with me and my poor Spanish. Getting an extra roll of toilet paper or an extra towel was always easy. She made me and my girlfriend feel comfortable and at home. Her and Jakob were amazing and they ended up being some of the best people we met in the sixty days we were there. We were sad to say goodbye and if ANYTHING would bring us back to that hotel, it's them! I'd like to thank the hotel and staff for a safe and comfortable stay. I believe simple things can be done to make this hotel worth the price. It's in a decent location with amazing staff and a nice pool! If it had better food with later accommodations, hot water in the rooms, a safe, and maybe a place for people to put clothes or personal belongings, it would be much better. P.S. Better wifi wouldn't hurt either! If the service at the closest hotels is good enough to send an email, but yours isn't, that should be a problem for you. Stop encouraging your customers to spend money and time at the places around your hotel. Do the things within your power to ensure your guests spend their time and money there as opposed to somewhere else.

My stay was great. The staff are very friendly and well disposed. The room was always very clean, the pool and all environments are very nice. The wifi works poorly and sometimes ceases to work and the room air conditioner is installed right above the beds, which causes the air to be thrown directly into the people who are lying down, which is not very pleasant. As a suggestion, they could provide small refrigerators inside the rooms, so that fresh water is always available.

This so-called 4-star-hotel is totally overrated - the staff is very kind, but the paid breakfast is less then you'll get on an airplane, it's not more than a starter. You'll get no juice if you already took 3 tiny pieces of fruit. Or you'll get one glass of cheap juice from concentrate (not even real juice in a 4-star hotel!), but then no fruit. And don't ask for a second small glass of juice - you won't get it, you already had one. You can choose only one tiny meal, and nothing more. But no extras like chicken or so. Just tacos with a sauce on it. That's it. After this breakfast, you have to go to another place, because you'll be hungry as before. I'm staying in hotels around the world most of the year, but this breakfast is one of the worst I've ever got. If I were here on vacation, I would cancel right away and change my stay. The rooms are big but totally basic - I wonder how they got 4 stars - not even a fridge or a water cooker in the room. If you want more water than provided in the room, you have to pay. Sorry, this is 4 stars and we talk about water!! Never experienced this before, and this is not my first time in Mexico. They just want you to pay for everything. In the morning I wake up because the laundry is in front of my window. The view outside the window is a white wall. You will not get a good sleep here, because you hear EVERYTHING that happens in this hoteI. I would not recommend this stay at all for vacation, in a hostel I would feel more welcome. Read the other reviews - I'm not the only one with this terrible experience here, especially regarding the breakfast. We kindly told them our problems with the breakfast, but they are not willing at all to improve their service. Today at breakfast I kindly asked again: "I believe it's not possible to get a second glass of juice?" - The answer: "no, not possible, just one". If it wouldn't be so horrible here, I would have to laugh. The pictures provided by the hotel are far away from reality.
