Imperial

This is a cheap hotel, one of the few with free parking since is very close to the cathedral, we took a 4 person room with 2 beds, is quite big, I understand that they cannot change the structure of the building and since this is a very antique hotel, the distribution is not the best, the bathroom is very small you and you can see pipes in there (the administration should cover those), also the door of the bathroom is so old, that in the bottom side you can see how is wearing cause of the time, some other parts outside the room need to be fix, like walls that you can see some big holes, attention is pretty decent, and the restaurant inside the hotel cook very good meals at very low price.

If you want to enjoy the downtown area and look for a very reasonable price, this is your place! Two blocks from Parian market, Rosario Chapel, main square, etc. It is true that it is litlle bit noisy, but remember, many if not most Mexicans do not mind noise, they even need it not to feel lonely. Rooms on the street side are noisy, but have much better light. I was impresed with the cleanliness of the place.

The plumbing worked, the bed was very firm, the WiFi was good and I didn't have to climb stairs. A descent and very inexpensive hotel, I paid about 30 dollars for a night for a single person. At the desk, not via the Internet.
