Hacienda de las Flores

Hotel in a very convenient location to visit the town and has an internal garden, really very nice. An oasis of tranquility. What we didn't like. The rooms are old and noisy, they should definitely be modernized. Ours, for example, did not have double curtains and consequently to not be seen inside it was necessary to close the night curtains and stay in the dark... the fridge was very old and noisy, so much so that it had to be disconnected in the night to be able to sleep. Pretty run-down electrical system. Finally, the breakfast decidedly poor compared to the price paid. The value for money decidedly poor.

My husband, I and various friends have stayed at the Hacienda for the past three Winters (early January to early March). Depending on your interests and needs, this also may be the perfect place for you. The Hacienda is a boutique hotel with 20 rooms, suites, and apartments, well-priced and provides great value, including a freshly-cooked breakfast in a beautiful dining room. And it is centrally located (we walk to everything) but in a quiet area. The Hacienda is U-shgped surrounding a gorgeous tropical garden and HEATED swimming pool with a beautiful deck and lounge chairs. Rooms, public spaces and the gardens are meticulously maintained and the front desk staff and night guard provide a safe environment. I would give it more than 5 stars if possible!

We did not want to leave Mexico for home tomorrow without leaving a review for the Hacienda de Flores. Having stayed in similar hotels the past two years in other cities, we were not disappointed. The reviews we read on Trip Advisor and the photos were accurate. The property is really charming. Our room had the look of a true hacienda room. The pool and the grounds are charming. The staff, and especially Estella, the manager, (pictured here with my wife) were very helpful. There is a separate room on the second floor where breakfast is served. It seemed like better my in a European hotel. It is about a 3 block downhill walk to the Plaza, where there is a beautiful square garden. The nearby streets have many restaurants and shops. Thank you for making our vacation so wonderful.
