Hotel Suites Meson de la Merced

The hotel was dirty in general. Careless, unmade beds and dirty sheets. The furniture is ugly, old and full of dust. The door lock didn't work. The room was dark and had a musty smell. Terrible service and attitude from the reception, the terminal was not serviceable and they made us go to get money to pay in cash. The photos are very different from reality. We do not return nor do we recommend it.

Hotel is in a great location, quite and staff are awesome. The hotel is in the historic center, the surroundings are very safe, the staff is super friendly. You can walk to restaurants, bars and cafes. There is a small shop 200 meters on the left.

Booked a room based upon photos showing multi level rooms. Mar, the receptionist escorted us to the room. Turned out bed was on 3rd level and too high for us. Mar immediately showed us a single level room that met our needs. We grabbed it. She also recommended a restaurant that turned out to be outstanding, and allowed us to cancel our stay early due to minor illness. Will returen
