Golden Parnassus Resort Spa All Inclusive

I have been to this resort 4 times now. The employees are the friendliest & really make the trip worthwhile. Actually, Jose & Fozie even remembered me from 4 yrs. ago and welcomed me back. I just love these guys. They both work at the bars (pool, beach & lobby). I also need to include Pedro, Tamaliel & Oscar in the restaurants & Silberio & Eldo, the Bell Boys. The manager (& I can't remember his name & I'm sorry about that} was awesome in helping me to check in early for our flight & get the time that Amstar would be picking us up. He was just so nice. I know there were others that I don't remember the names but just know they were all the best!!! The food in all the restaurants was excellent, especially the seafood restaurant, Pier 12. We also ate at The Old Barn (steak) & Sumo (Japanese). The buffet was good & we had breakfast there. Everything is close by. The beach is beautiful. The only think I was disappointed in was they did not have a show every night like they used too so we hung out at the pool bar (right in front of the ocean) & open till 1 AM. We did see 3 shows out of the 7 nights we were there & they were great. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our balcony which I loved. My friend & I plan on going back there again very soon. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Very old hotel. Lack of maintenance. Very worn towels. Low lighting EVERYTHING IN GENERAL VERY OLD Excellent animation!!!! It is the only thing I stand out, besides the beautiful sea view of the room!

IT IS A LOUSY HOTEL, FROM THE BEGINNING THE HALL HAS NO AIR CONDITIONING WHICH IS BASIC FOR THESE PLACES WHERE WE HAVE HIGH TEMPERATURES, THE HALL WAS PASSED TO FOOD, WE ARRIVED AT LUNCHTIME AND IT WAS ALL THE HALL WITH FOOD SCENT, AFTER RECEPTION WE WENT TOURING THE COMMON SPACES AND WERE ALL DETERIORATED, WE PASSED TO THE RESTAURANT THAT WE SHOULD HAVE LUNCH AND IT WAS ALL THE DIRTY PLACE AND MORE PASSED TO FOOD, THE BAD TABLES AND CHAIRS WERE NOT IN GOOD CONDITION, IT WAS SO MUCH MY DISCOMFORT AND DISAPPOINTMENT JUST TOURING THE PLACE OF COMMON AREAS THAT WE DECIDED AT THAT TIME TO LEAVE THE HOTEL, WE DID NOT EVEN WANT TO VISIT THE ROOM AND REFUSED THE ACCOMMODATION I WAS ONLY 15 MINUTES IN THIS LOUSY HOTEL, I INSIST THAT IT IS NOT FIT TO RECEIVE PEOPLE TRAVELING TO A PLACE THAT SHOULD BE WONDERFUL THE EXPERIENCE. I REALLY FIND IT TOO PRECARIOUS TO CONTINUE HAVING OPEN, THE PHOTOS DO NOT MATCH ANYTHING WE LIVED SO IT IS THAT THEY DO NOT GET CARRIED AWAY LIKE ME WHO MADE THE MISTAKE OF FOLLOWING THE PHOTOS. THE PHOTOS TEND TO BE MANY YEARS AGO WHEN IT OPENED. BUT THEY'RE NOTHING REAL. YOU TRAVEL WITH ALL THE ENTHUSIASM OF BEING IN A SUITABLE PLACE, BUT THIS WAS NOT THE CASE. I THINK IT'S GONNA RUIN YOUR VACATION IN THESE KINDS OF PLACES. I MEAN TO LOOK FOR OTHER ACCOMMODATION THAT DAY WITH ALL THE INCONVENIENCE THAT INVOLVES HAVING TO LEAVE THE PLACE AND FIND SOMETHING SUITABLE FOR WHAT IS CANCUN.
