It is small but has all the basic infrastructure. Thanks to the pier, the hotel has virtually no strong waves, which is very rare in Cancún. The beach is ideal for a relaxed swim, and for people on wheelchairs from the first tower made a great gentle ramp. From the local pier you can sail for a tour of Isla Mujeres. Because of the same pier and the stuck algae (sargassis), the sea here does not have the same postcard, crystal-azure shade of Cancún. Speaking of tours. The quality of the liquor in the free cocktails leaves much to be desired. The Junior Suite rooms were upset by the too cramped shower for this category and the lack of a coffee machine. Be careful with beach towels for losing the card or the towel itself faces a stiff 500 peso fine. The hotel fully justifies its cost. It's worth driving here for economy, pools and a calm sea. The best time to catch low prices is June, September and October.
