Hotel Suites Le Monde

This hotel is in Downtown Cancun. It is a small hotel and we rented a suite that had a kitchen as we do not like eating in restaurants all the time. We asked for the hotel to supply things for the kitchen and the hotel did so. It had a small couch one double bed and one twin bed. There was a fan and air conditioning. There were windows which looked out into the lobby so the drapes were kept closed. They do not change sheets or towels daily unless. If you want them changed you must ask. I also had to ask the lady who cleaned to do certain things and she was very accommodating. I also bought cleaning supplies as I like wherever I live to be very clean. No bottled water is supplied like some hotels but there are stores nearby. There is a laundry right next door which is very convenient. There are many restaurants within easy walking distance and the largest park in Cancun is about 2 blocks away and it teems with life. There are 2 gyms close by and a yoga studio as well. Two grocery stores are a few block away and Walmart and Costco are also within walking distance. The ADO bus station is very close as well. We stayed here over Christmas and New Years and it was the first time in years of living in Mexico during the holidays where we had absolute quiet. That was a bonus. The owner Fausto and his Sister Anna are very nice and accommodating. The wifi was strong, fast and free!

We returned to Cancun, and stayed at the Hotel Le Monde Suites downtown Cancun. We especially like the location because it close to activities at La Palapa park, La Parrilla & Pericos to each. They have improved the security by changing the front door lock & installing dead bolts to each rooms door. The property is well cared for and cleaned daily. The rooms are around $450-500 pesos per night.

We stubled into the LeMond Suites & we're happy we found it. The rooms are spacious, with a kitchenette, refrigerator, coffee maker, micro-wave, & sink. The bathroom comfortable, walk -in shower, TV. THE towels do the job, bring you own facial wash cloth. We bought paper towels coffee, cup, & bowls for coffee & cereal. A few blocks from the Main Street Tulum, Two blocks from the ADO bus station. Nice coffee shop Andrea a few blocks from the LeMonde hotel. The rates are great, affordable on a budget. Catch the bus R-1, for travel to La Isla shopping Mall or Kulakan mall. For Wal-Mart check the bus numb & name on bus window. Good place to buy food & wine/beer. Movie @ LaIsla mall is great. Any questions, contact "CAP" at fshidler@yahoo.com.
