I had stayed in a Nilu hostel before this one, which was quieter but felt much nicer. As this one was in downtown Cancun, I expected it to have more of a social and lively atmosphere, but it was still pretty quiet.
The dorms also didn’t look like they did in the Hostelworld photos, and the rooms felt quite small and stuffy. It wasn’t the nicest hostel I’ve stayed in. The beds didn’t have curtains, so there was less privacy, and the lockers in the room were quite clunky and loud, making it difficult to get things from my bag without disturbing others.
Overall, it was fine for somewhere to sleep, but it didn’t really give the social hostel experience I was hoping for.
