During my road trip in Mexico, I booked accommodation via Booking.com (booking no. [5136247652], amount: US$59.73 or about €52). When I arrived, the security guard at the entrance to the complex asked me for the apartment number and via the joint renting establishment, the latter claimed not to have a reservation in my name, which left me without accommodation. Note that the morning booking tried to reach me ONLY ONCE by phone and sent me a message to inform me that there was a problem with the contact details of the host leaving me the following number +526643342550 (very difficult to reach). So, distraught, I took another rental (1500 pesos ). Back in France, I immediately contacted Customer Service, who promised me a reply within 6 days... but no follow-up was given, despite my reminders. Booking.com didn’t help me or reimburse me, and let the problem go unanswered. All my other bookings on Booking during this trip went smoothly. But given this lack of follow-up and assistance, I am losing confidence in their ability to protect travellers. I am issuing this notice to signal this failure and alert my peers to the importance of remaining vigilant. 💡 Currently, I am still waiting for the refund of this Service not provided but as I no longer believe, I will close my account. I was left behind in Mexico, and I’m back home again due to the lack of assistance from Customer Service, who ultimately don’t have one for me.

The accommodation was delivered to us in unpresentable condition. Definitely dirty. Chair seats with dirt stains. The fridge very dated and not clean. The bathroom as above. The shower was malfunctioning and you took it after 7pm, the water was cold, lucky it was very hot. The bedroom overlooked the street, very noisy from 5am. The only positive, the air conditioning. To be avoided.

My husband and I had an unexpected stay to Cancun beach and ended up here for a night. at first we weren’t sure what to expect but after realizing how crazy close we were to the beach we were really impressed. The guys who run coffee shop on the property were one of the bests parts of our stay. They helped us with everything. The beach was within 1 minute walk from our room. We felt safe and considering the insane trip we had prior to arriving there it was a great place to land unexpectedly. If we ever have to stay in Cancun again we would totally look for a place here. It’s away from the vegas style strip of Cancun beach and the ocean is just wonderful. Theres also a pool that seemed ideal for families. Each place has a full kitchen and it seem really great for groups and extended stay. Highly recommend. Defiantly talk to Daniel and Axel in the coffee shop for help on where to eat and transportation or literally anything you need.
