Terracaribe

Well, I liked the location because it was away from the action of downtown Cancun. The air conditioner worked great, the shower was hot. The Manager spoke English. Their is great bus service close by. The sandwich and smoothie shop across the street is awesome. The only questionable thing was the pool. I'm not sure if it gets cleaned or if chlorine is added regularly.

We chose this hotel because it was close to the ferry and economical but we barely slept all night. The room smelled very musty, the room was not insulated at all, very noisy. Furthermore, the reception really leaves something to be desired: you are made to sign internal regulations indicating the fines to be paid in the event of an infraction...?! The area is terrible, luckily it was only for 1 night.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Terracaribe for one night out of our 7 night stay. The toilet and shower didn’t work and the bathroom wasn’t clean. They agreed to give us a refund for the remaining 6 nights. This was a month ago. Still waiting….. They haven’t replied to my messages or my emails
