The Wine Bed & Breakfast

Very nice and cozy apartments in Downtown Cancun, very well located, and very clean, the staff and owners very nice. I would definitely stay with friends again. I highly recommend the apartments if you are travelling in large groups and friends.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It's very clean and friendly, the rooms are a good size and there's a roof terrace. The owner, Daniel, is helpful and a very nice person. The other guests were good fun to talk to and have dinner with. The location is good - walking distance to the beach, Puerto Juarez (to get the ferry to Isla Mujeres) and just round the corner is a great taco place, drinks store, etc. I saw another reviewer criticise it for being in a run down area - I felt totally safe and found the area charming. I don't like glitzy resorts (or their prices!). I would totally stay here again.

First of all, this is not a hotel, it's a hostel, next it's not called the wine bed and breakfast it's actually called the wine. Now to begin with the misleading lies the ad says, no gym, not near anything decent, horrible ghetto neighbourhood, tons of stray dogs, and terrible smell to accompany the garabage everywhere. No AC, just unless fans that just move around all the crazy hot unable to sleep in sauna like air! There is NO CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST, it's toast, coffee, and juice that we found was actually watered down sunny D. It's bring your own food, and don't get fridge food because the fridge isn't cold! No gym as promised, there was cock roach in the bathroom, it was all just so disappointing, so much we checked out early and moved to a new hotel even tho we couldn't get a refund for the remaining stays. This place is misleading people and no one should have to experience what we did. DO NOT STAY HERE!
