Villas Flamingos

WARNING: Deceptive financial practices. Villas Flamingos accepted and understood my cancellation 23 days in advance via WhatsApp (admitted in writing), but manually delayed the transaction to J-5 instead of their mandatory J-7 protocol just to seize a 50% penalty ($3,460 USD). Complete radio silence from management since then. Look elsewhere if you value honest merchants.

It was a quick stay but full of good experiences. The hotel is simple, with a touch of craftsmanship in decorations and furniture. Breakfast is something that is valid to highlight, as the quality of the food and portions are very good (something that is not usually so for an included service). The beach is beautiful! Areas of improvement opportunities are preventive maintenance in areas and room (we had details with the air conditioning in the room) and the attention of staff in restaurant area can be more complete, as it is very unpleasant to discover that there are missing menus when ordering. We'll probably be back!

The hotel delivers on what it offers, but there are a few aspects you would have liked to know before making a decision: The outing to the beach is a pond with sargassum, in fact it is the only place on the island where we could perceive this, the smell greatly affects the experience and they do not clean it. The food is regular, better to go out to eat at nearby restaurants, breakfast one would expect more compared to other options on the island. The room is nice, but the AC light can't be turned off, so if you're light sleepy you'll find it hard to sleep because of the brightness. You can also hear any movement in surrounding rooms. The service is pool area is poor, you have to go looking for who attends. For photos is very good, the experience not so much.
