Hotel Eclipse

We stayed in the hotel for 10 nights. after the 4th night, one of the guys who works in the hotel came to our room (at 9:30 pm) and told us that we need to do check out tomorrow until 12 because there is another reservation to the room. (we booked the room weeks before) after long evening, us trying to talk to the manager and explain that this is not make sense (btw the guy who works in the hotel laugh at us and didn't want to give us the numbers of the manager) He came to us that this is ok and we can stay (thanks) We booked again a room for one night, and the day before check in the manager text us that AGAIN we cannot come cause there is another reservation. we are not the only one who's found themselves without a room- we heard a lot of similar stories like us.

This hotel is located right in the center of all the nightlife. So, it is loud at night, so if your not looking to stay out at night, probably shouldn't be your first choice. It's really close to mamitas, just a short walk. Alex, who works at reception at the hotel, makes this place! He is very helpful, had great tips, and honestly is the biggest reason I would return to this location

I dont write too many reviews but I definitely wanted to warn folks who are thinking of staying here. I stayed here for 2 nights in December 2016. My husband's Calvin Klein pants were stolen when put out to dry in the sitting area of our room. Along with the pants were towels etc that weren't stolen. The hotel provides bands to guests to wear for entering the 'secure' area and keeps gates locked past 11pm. I put out the clothes to dry after a beach day at 12 midnight and they were missing by 7am next morning. What was most shocking was the attitude of the owners when I complained to them about the situation. I complained in the morning to the receptionist who said she'll look into it (with a casual 'it happens all the time' hand wave). Come afternoon, I again had to remind them about the case. She says she has to wait for the owner Alex to review CCTV footage to see if they can find something. In the evening, Alex was right there working on the PC but didn't bother to give us an update of what happened. None of them seemed to be bothered or interested in taking an action. Now, I understand we are only talking about a pair of pants, but the attitude of the folks running the place was what forces me to give this review. Most customers who leave their bags with them for the entire day better know what they are getting into!
