The Beach Tulum

My GF and I researched practically every hotel in Tulum before choosing The Beach Tulum! We are so glad we chose this amazing hotel. First, don't be worried about having to wire the funds to them before the trip. It's not a common practice in the US. I was a little concerned at first. But, all went well. The hotel, in our opinion, is the best on the beach. It's the most romantic hotel either of us have ever stayed. We stayed in the Junior Suite which is literally one step off of the beach. The private, heated plunge pool is delightful if the weather isn't perfect for a beach day. We took breakfast in our room 4 out of 5 days, which was a great and romantic way to start our day. Pablo greet us every morning, with a delightful, happy greeting every morning. The bar tenders at Ziggy's were also amazing. The food was high quality and plentiful. The staff are amongst the most pleasant, helpful and attentive I've ever experienced. I saw another review that gave the hotel 4 stars and drew attention to Tulum itself. I couldn't agree more, when that person focused on walking to other restaurants for evening dinner or clubbing. I gave five stars as this issue wasn't due to the hotel. The main "road" is about 1 and half lanes that is packed with anxious drivers. There are very few sidewalks along this road, with little to no lighting. So, expect cars to be whizzing by you only inches away from you. Although we didn't see anyone injured, it's easy to imagine people being struck by oncoming cars and trucks. The Beach is a quiet oasis amongst some of the other Bass Pumping clubs several hundred yards away. Their party music starts early and ends late, which you can hear, at times, off in the distance. But, at The Beach, the ocean waves drown out that sound (for the most part).

Staff was wonderful, welcoming, warm and went above and beyond to be accommodating, responsive, and kind. Food was fresh and delicious! The hotel is gorgeous, clean, and luxurious. Amenities were 5 star. We loved staying at the beach hotel tulum. I only want to warn guests about the atv/scooter/bike rental guys across the street from the hotel and frescos. They scammed us out of $300 USD charging us as a deposit that they required. They did not refund the deposit like they said they would after we returned the ATV. I messaged the guy we rented from to request it back and he stopped replying then blocked me. They are dishonest. The hotel attempted to help me by talking w the guys but I never received my $300 USD back. I included pictures of the stand below.

We loved this place - couldn’t speak of it more highly! We had a beach-front bungalow with rooftop, which was gorgeous: very large, shabby-beach chic vibes and we loved sitting on the roof terrace enjoying the herons fly past in the evening and then the gorgeous stars. The hotel itself is in a great location…close to the bars, but not too noisy. You get your own sun loungers reserved for you too, which is a lovely touch! No more hunting for the perfect spot. There is a cute little bar (we had some lovely cocktails) and the swimming pools are a nice change from the ocean. Unfortunately the Sargassum was crazy when we were there so we needed somewhere to cool down. We will return!
