Hotel San Marcos

Located in the city center, has an Oxxo opposite for whatever is offered.check in is fast, friendly and helpful employees, stayed in room 718, good size, 10/10 cleanliness, had good services the hotel, the bed was comfortable. Definitely a good option to get to know the city and be close to the most important tourist places.

So the pro of this hotel is that it is centrally located...nice rooms..the staff is nice..reception area is probably the most non helpful...when we arrived the check in process was not helpful...asked where and how I booked the hotel as I was looking up my reservation. The front desk gentleman found it and never told me anything until I saw him printing paperwork, therefore I asked him...I extended my stay here one more day out of convenience and the first 2 days had 2 breakfast vouchers and the extension only had 1...then the front desk gal said...well you only get 1 this time...the receptionist area is the most needed area of some customer service training..In my 3 day stay I have seen alot of people upset there at the front desk area, so this in fact is very telling to me..Nonetheless the other staff is great, you can tell that this use to be the "it" hotel in town..very old luxury type of hotel..

The hotel is nothing fancy but is well located. The rooms are large and clean and the beds ard very comfortable. We were able to leave our bags past checkout which was a nice convenience. The restaurant was average, nothing spectacular but well cooked and delivered as ordered.
