Maxihotel Los Mochis

The hotel was in a good location close to the city center. We were comfortable in the room. Staff were courteous and helpful. We left at 5:30 am to catch el Chepe, the train, so didn't experience the breakfast. The rooms were very basic so for the price not a fantastic deal. We booked ahead and it was nice to have the security of knowing you will be in a decent area.

There's not much to it. A room with a bed and a bathroom. No more no less. And despite what your booking might say, there's no breakfast. The check in was brief with no special service or welcome, just functional.

Small, but quaint hotel that is typical of smaller Mexican hotels. The try to give good service, but the facility lacks. Usually the lobby of a hotel is the grand palace and the hotel rooms suffer. People off the streets in Mexico come to dine at hotel restaurants if the dining facility is good. The prices were fair, and Los Mochis is a nice small town strangely enough deigned by an American.
