Stayed here for 1 night for business. Do not let the good reviews or nice looking photos fool you as this hotel was a not what I had expected. It is old and could use a renovation top to bottom. It looks like it was an old, private hotel before and Marriott came and bought it and just changed the signs. Pros: Good location Free breakfast although I did not try it. Fast, reliable WIFI Cons: Staff was inefficient at check-in. I had made online reservations for 2 rooms but since both were under my name, it took some time to change one of the rooms’ names for the other person who was going to pay separately. Also, no recognition of Bonvoy status. The hotel is plastered with the Marriott brand but seems like the workers there have no clue how the loyalty system works. Rooms are old and did not feel clean due to the outdated feel to it. Walls are thin so you can hear every noise Both elevators were not working at one point. They felt very old. When I was in my room, a staff tried entering 2x. I had my secondary lock on so they could not enter and that should have been a sign that someone was occupying the room since you cannot lock the door from the outside. The first time, I did not answer and she closed the door. Then she tried again, and at that point I opened the door and asked what was going on. All she did was apologize and walked away. No idea what it was about. Do not get a room on the 2nd floor as the hallway opens up to the front desk and lobby. It can be noisy. In the evening, many of us watched the Mexico World Cup match from the lobby. We can see there were some drinks and snacks left out at first, but when we had arrived, most of it was empty and it was only halftime. Would have been courteous if staff recognized that and re-filled everything. Yet they just sat at the front desk doing nothing. I would not recommend this hotel. There is a Holiday Inn close by that has better reviews, so I would stay there next time.

I stayed 3 nights, the reception staff very friendly, the reception looked pretty decent. The problem was when I left the elevator to the room; the hotel looks quite old, it lacks quite a lot of maintenance, the walls look dirty, in the same room, even though the room was clean, it gave an image of old and careless, from the bathroom came a smell of terrible pipe, I regretted having paid for my full stay 😂, as I was given the option to pay per night, I had never stayed in a city express and if it was a pleasant experience. Additional, the room service staff, spends knocking on the door at 8:00 in the morning asking if that day I leave the haha room is a terrible detail, since surely they have the data, the check out is at 1:00 PM, if I had been asleep at that time, bye sleep. A big plus is the parking and of course the location.

Good service in general for a family stay of a couple of nights, breakfast starts very late if you are just passing through, 7:00am. Very friendly reception staff. She was safe to enter your room or to take a car. Insurance for family travel
