Holiday Inn Centro Historico

The hotel is nice or the location is good but I do not recommend walking at night I have been getting ugly and did not give me security. The hotel: It's under renovation. The gym is out of order. There are staff working during the day. If you know the HIE you know that at reception there is complimentary water (dispensers with water sometimes infused with lemon ) and coffee thermoses to serve you , here there are no they do not know them and the receptionist saw me even missed. There is no ice maker and no ice is available at the hotel. There's only one candy vending machine. Now I'll talk about room 208 It looks like it's very new Watering can/bathroom gives off a very unpleasant drainage smell like it lacks the scent trap in the watering can The watering can is super small and the door opens inwards... so it's impractical. Maybe the sink is tiny with a corner shelf doesn't stop. It has no room for personal reticles. About break 8 two nights but an alarm wings 630 master And breakfast we don't even talk about.

The location could not be better. It is located in front of the historical buildings of the naval region and mail box office. You can walk to the core of Veracruz dowtown ("Zócalo"). Many historical buildings such as the Cathedral, the Benito Juárez Lighthouse and the Naval museum are at walking distance (less than 10 minutes). The building (and old traditional hotel) has been renovates and has all the ammenities of any other Holiday Inn. Service is excelent. The only thing missing is a bar. There is a restaurant but not a bar.

The pillows are dreamy, I even started to draw them to see the brand and surprise one apparently make them exclusive for the hotel chain and 2 and the most important one are flawless and have double cover. The building is simply amazing full of history, was a former convent and is in magnificent condition. The staff what follows you kindly everyone from the bell I go, the receptionists. The location is great, I didn't change it for the one facing me this loved it. Thanks for everything
