Hotel Istirincha

We went as a family in 2021, since then the rooms were lacking maintenance, the same as everyone mentions noisy climates, no maintenance smell damp, precarious restaurant, in 2025 we stayed in another hotel but back we went to try to eat there and better we would have bought junk to get rid of hunger, the food took an hour to arrive, cold and apparently was overheated, some fish fillets draining in oil and my son ended up getting sick to his stomach. Super sloppy and dirty facilities. And good part of the ugly food, very expensive for the quality and what they gave, $1,300.00 for 3 steaks and 2 lemon waters and an orange with past oranges.

Lousy service, put you as a side fried bananas, because they have run out of French potatoes at 11 a.m.... plus buffet 250 pesos per person, where there was only choice of melon fruit, chopped cigars and starry egg, in addition to limited, they took out 10 chopped when we were some busy tables, super small hotcakes... I paid for 4 people 1060 pesos for half breakfast, plus people enter the pool with normal clothes: socks, denim clothes etc. I ended up leaving a day early because of the bad experience

This is a beautiful place, and you will have a good time. The beach is lovely, and the swimming pool areas are great too. The thing is, you can't really have "ecotourism" in a place that serves you food on styrofoam containers. I feel like they can do so much more to be at least as environmentally friendly as they claim to be.
