Hotel Punta Azul

Reviews for this hotel were pretty good, price for a double queen with street view was also good. However my stay was not satisfied. First of all we had to use valet parking, I would like to park myself and from the hotel offer I thought this was the case. Inside the room, the rooms both left and right were noisy. So much in fact we could hear conversations. The air conditioning was very loud, no way to sleep with that turned on, but turned off is too warm. Swimming pools are too small The water in the shower builds up during washing. Location is fairly good, beach is almost on side, and a nice busy area around the hotel. I felt save in the area. Also located in between of Veracruz and Boca del Rio. All in all not coming back here.

This hotel is extremely expensive for what it offers. The rooms are small. The pools are small and have dirty water. The atmosphere in the pools was terrible; there were groups of drunken people. A live cockroach appeared in the room. The gym does not have enough equipment; there are only four machines. The bed sheets are dirty. The bathroom has a curtain instead of a door in the shower area. The toilet paper holder is very low on the wall. The room does not have chairs to sit and place one's belongings. The common areas are not air-conditioned. Overall, I spent a very unpleasant night due to the terrible conditions of this hotel. Not recommended at all. Far from the city center. I did not like this hotel. Not recommended!

One of the best riverfront options, the ice maker, beach umbrella, beach chairs and beach towels are unlimited. And they save you good money. Very good service and perfect location. The air conditioners are not minisplit but perfectly serve the function and make no noise. Surely recommended
