City Express Coatzacoalcos

I will write my personal experience for your reference: 1) I arrived from Mexico City, my company brought me here and made the proper payment for the hotel but when I was at the front desk the recepción girl asked me to pay( I was breathing deeply and ask gently to please double check) ... after that she said we are all done here is your room. 2) The reception gave me a room in the second floor, when I was there the air conditioning was turned on, I tried to turn it of or raise the temperature but the remote control didn’t turn on so I pick up the phone and for my surprise also didn’t work(the phone didn’t turn on) so I pick up my luggage and walk to the reception and asked for a different room... 3) I just left my stuff and went to the gym It has no remote control, neither for the tv or air conditioner( and will not mention that the walking machine is out of service)I tried to use the phone in the gym but it didn’t work...( I can’t believe it) again I walk to the front desk and ask for both controls, the security guy after some minutes walked into the gym and turn on the air conditioner but not the tv, then again I walked to the front desk and asked for the remote control for the tv... when I was just about finish my workout a lady came to the room and turned on the tv ... The hotel is only to sleep and stay the night, I cannot believe things that do not work and can be fixed.. If you have good expectations try a different option... I’m so disappointed of City Express that will never again book a rom in the planet ... I might be only this hotel but what a terrible experience at City express Coatzacoalcos... try to avoid this hotel and book another hotel....

Yes, its a yawn of a hotel, but we were happy to find it. Had a terrible storm, water was coming through our windows, but room was nice. bed good and the breakfast is always a great way to start the day without having to look for something in the street. Price is right for the type of hotel.

It's a hotel that doesn't dissapoint but neither surprises you. It's just a business hotel with not quiet at all bedrooms, a three machine gym, a small pool, breakfast included (but you deserve something better), parking lot and business center. The only interesting is the location. It's close to mayor malls and the "Malecon Avenue" that goes side by side to the sea. If you want a cheap but not bad option to stay, you could check this one.
