Hotel Maria Victoria

The hotel is sloppy, the shower is full of rust, the key faucet too. The TV control was very dirty, full of dust. Breakfast only has two fruits and top the dishes dirtying the same fruit. They lack a lot of training for reception staff and waiters, their interaction very dry.

They only have one electrical contact... The penultimate breakfast caused me a lot of abdominal pain and diarrhea. I approached the woman at the reception to explain the situation. She was indifferent and did not want to refund the last breakfast, which of course was not going to be at this hotel. Finally at night, after spending a day at the hotel, due to being in poor health and not enjoying the beautiful city, a man at the reception was able to cancel the last breakfast. There was never an apology, of course. The cleanliness in the hotel is good, it is the second time I stayed at this hotel, but without a doubt I will not return.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights last August-2022-and it was very good value. The hotel is located a short distance from the main plaza with several restaurants nearby.Initially the room I was given had a leaky bathroom but this problem was quickly rectified and I was given a different room. The staff were friendly and helpful and I want to mention Cesar and Jose in particular.Breakfast is available at this hotel and represented good value....I returned again to this hotel in early September for another night...I am happy to recommend this hotel and gladly give it 8 out of 10.
