Definitely not worth staying in this place, the staff do not have the notion of what is the guest service, the internet of the room does not work except in the bathroom, I had to send some reports, when I reported the fala to the receptionist, far from providing assistance or sending someone to check, told me that I could work in the lobby. The curtains in the room were stained with something that looked like blood, the same as the walls. Finally they provide a parking service that is on main avenue, same as from 8pm and until midnight it closes to make it pedestrian, I was not warned of that and had to pay another parking to make my car safe. After this very bad experience and having booked for 2 nights, I decided to leave early and only received the refund of the unused night, I was not compensated with absolutely anything, not even what I pay for parking. Definitely a place I do NOT recommend to ANYONE!!!

We definitely do NOT return for the quality of the hotel in general, it is NOT worth what it costs, everything is very old, bathrooms, airs (apart from sounding and not working well), elevators, leak in in the sink, the super dirty tub, old mattresses... all dirty and bad looking. It smells damp. Old, broken towels. NOTHING to do with what they sell in the pictures. The only thing I could say OK is the attention in reception of Victor and that he has good location to go for a walk, but there are others who also have good location and better.

We stayed here for 16 days , recently. Typically I think most guests don’t stay that long but we chose it as a jumping off point to explore the Yucatán area. 5 star location for sure ! There are so many things to do within 3 blocks including museums , restaurants, shops, park areas with live entertainment, just fantastic! One of the major complaints we had was the noise both in our room and while sitting on balcony or pool area . Keep in mind this is a large city so you can hear traffic , music from clubs and parks plus constant noise from huge AC unit from Holiday Inn across street , lower floors are less affected by this . The hotel has a charming aesthetic but is dated and needs some attention in certain areas . The elevator is ancient but reliable and charming. The rooms are clean and housekeepers were very accommodating with any requests. Bottled water is left in your room daily and a small fridge is handy to keep things cool , although freezer didn’t work and ice is not available at hotel but attached restaurant will give you small amount for cost . No coffee in rooms but a decent cup is available at Marago ( across street) or Pops, around the corner . We had no problem with hot water or shower pressure, although bathroom fixtures and toilets need upgraded, not great at flushing with wobbly seats. We moved from our deluxe double room , because of leak from bathroom ceiling, to basic double and it is significantly smaller , with less storage for clothing . The pool is a lovely area to sit with chaise lounges but water is topped up daily and absolutely freezing .. in 16 days I saw 4 people use it. I would recommend for short stays.
