Casa Lecanda Boutique

**Five stars. Could not fault Casa Lecanda.** Outstanding stay from start to finish at Casa Lecanda on Calle 47 in Mérida. The service was exceptional and the people were the warmest I have come across in my travels. The team booked my trip arrangements and organised VIP drivers, which took all the stress out of getting around. I stayed in the garden suite, Ana, with the stone bath. Just immaculate. The cleanliness across the whole property was superior. Rooms were serviced twice a day, with turndown each evening and chocolates on the bedside. The laundry service was the quickest I have ever experienced. Small touches, but they add up to a genuinely luxurious experience. Breakfast was delicious. I could not have asked for more. Five stars and I will definitely be back.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely area, located within steps of many good restaurants. The staff is first-rate. They arranged all our restaurant reservations in advance and acted quickly to rearrange them when our plans changed. They responded immediately to any request I made. Breakfast was wonderful, with fresh fruit, juices (try the green juice!), wonderful breads and eggs cooked anyway you asked. The in-room amenities like Nespresso coffee maker were greatly appreciated. The hotel itself was quiet, although on weekend nights noise from nearby bars could be heard. They opened an upscale fine-dining restaurant while we were there, serving terrific cuisine, from sea bass tacos to braised beef and more. Among the upscale boutique hotel options in Merida, Casa Lecanda is clearly one of the best.

Fantastic location, an original Mexican home transformed into a beautiful relaxing boutique hotel. We stayed in a patio room, it was well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. We were unwell from our previous location and the staff were caring and attentive, making sure that we had everything we needed and asking us to let them know if we required an English speaking doctor. Not being able to go out during an hotel stay is usually awful but this was such a relaxing environment it was no punishment. Once we were well and able to explore we realised we were in a great location on the road with lovely restaurants, stores and a park at the end of the road. A great place to stay, highly recommended.
