Holiday Inn Express Merida

We came to this hotel at the end of our holiday for a new nights since we wanted easy access to the motorway. It's simple but very clean and we had no bad surprises. There were restaurants and a large supermarket within walking distance. The breakfast is simple but good. The pool could have been a bit cleaner but all in all, we really enjoyed our stay.

In recent years we have stayed here on our visit to Merida, and it is regrettable that after a year we find a noticeable change in its facilities and services. The people at the front desk very well. Cleanliness generally regular, but in the wrong room. The food from the buffet VERY BAD, plus they are not attentive to what is needed, although the attention of an excellent waiter, does what is in his hands. Hopefully they pay attention to the details, as those who visit other Hampton Inn have a landmark and right now this has several areas of opportunity

We were greeted with a smile and courtesy. We quickly got our room. When we arrived the bedspread was dirty, we immediately notified the management and quickly 2 maids arrived with a very clean bedspread that they immediately replaced. Great service. The room and bathroom very clean. The towels very white and soft. Very comfortable bed with good quality sheets. The view of the sea and the swimming pool is beautiful. Breakfast included with fresh fruit, coffee, bread but big problem absence of toaster.... We will gladly return.
