Al Mamoun

I went to this hotel on a reservation made by Houcine a friend of mine Casablancais who did not really know this hotel but who had been obliged from a hotel of the same group since my initial reservation had been given to someone else (hotel de Provence). The owner (Sanaa) had requested that the whole world be paid in advance, for a total sum of 5,000 dhms, so 4,000 paid immediately and a staggered facility for the balance. If the first month went well despite the fact that a disco occupying the ground floor of this hotel was making a terrible din until 5am ... with guests outside screaming and fighting without the management doing anything, and while I had agreed to renew for a second month... This last one was a real catastrophe as well as a hell. The wifi never worked... The elevator broke down every other day... The water in my room was cut off in the evening due to the subculture of the discotheque preventing me from distributing in my room to benefit from the water so I could not wash and the toilet did not work either. I had reported it several times nicely... But nothing did because there was a general laxity in this establishment... And then came the fateful day when, being very tired after whole nights not sleeping due to the noise, I arrived at the reception in the morning a little more pissed than usual, while remaining polite and respectful... And then I was told that I was the only one who had to complain, while our client present at the reception nodded what I said, and I was told by this receptionist that "if I was not happy I just had to get out" with these precise words... It was easy to say that as I had already paid everything...except 500 dhms (50€) since I had lent 1000 dirham to a guest of the hotel for his personal needs whose dubious reason I will keep quiet. I have never been treated like this in 46 years as an adult, and have visited countless hotels around the world (given my recognized international activity in music and fashion). I expected the owner to make a gesture of understanding without really asking for an apology... If the concierge had presented them to me a few days earlier, it was not the same from the owner when I had asked her many times an interview that she always glossed over or refused and even better but it was not presented to an appointment she had scheduled me. So I left this hotel on July 1st expressing my disappointment, always in a very correct and respectful way...and there, many horrible insult messages came to me from him... She called me an old m..... a baffler... a mythomaniac about my state of health when I'm a type 2 diabetic... an insulin addict... And while she was holding in the fridge of her other establishment (café de Provence) my insulin syringes... I will not continue with all the insults she preferred but I have at your disposal a copy of all the text messages that prove what I am writing. It is unacceptable to be treated in this way and it prevents the reputation of Morocco which is a great country when it has asked me to leave it... SMS allowed to enter my private life by allowing myself to say that I stop hitting on young twinks on the street given my advanced state of old age (I am 66 and I make 50 unanimously people who know me). I wanted to denounce this, advised against people going to an establishment where terror and slave-like contempt prevail among the staff, as well as disrespect and insult to customers

The hotel is not recommended, we only booked it because everything was already taken nearby. The place is excellent near the train station and it is the center . It's dirty, the bath's dirty, it's leaking! All floor in water! The tax is very big on us 2 adults+ 1 child 8 years old took 60 dirhams in 1 night ! It smells really damp. For breakfast they said that only 2 adults are allowed!!! The baby wasn't even given juice!!! Breakfast is bad on the next street. After we talked about this situation suggested we go back, but no longer wanted anything, it was good that in the evening we got yogurt and the baby was able to have breakfast. Not recommended. Elevator and Wi-Fi were down this morning. Money is taken and services are not provided!

It is within walking distance of the main attractions of the city. Competent staff at the reception. Welcome and welcoming. Cleaning on request. Breakfast is served in another hotel. All drinks are one glass or cup only. The sausage in the slice does not renew, it is not fresh, there are no fruits and vegetables. So I give a 3 to the hotel because of the paucity of breakfast, the rudeness and the brazenness of the staff.
