Great stay in this Riad perfectly located in the medina. We had the room on the 2nd floor (which is actually the 3rd floor of the building) with a sublime view of the sea, impossible to have better. Very clean room well arranged and extremely quiet place, you can hear nothing by the sound of the waves, it is great. Breakfast is complete and excellent. Access to the rooms is by a fairly cramped staircase but without any problem for us, I just point out for people with reduced mobility. Riad to advise without any hesitation.

After climbing a steep spiral staircase, you enter a refuge from 1001 nights. High, colorfully glazed windows, tastefully tiled floors and colorful, stucco-decorated but very tasteful design create a Moroccan atmosphere from times gone by. The view of the ocean from the double-glazed windows is probably the most beautiful in Essaouira. This is not an expensive hotel, but a reasonably priced holiday apartment without service with an excellent breakfast. A heater provides warmth in winter, and the bathroom is simple but functional. The kitchen with refrigerator is more for making coffee or tea, but not for cooking. Moroccan hospitality from the manager, who speaks good German and personally accompanied me to the pre-ordered taxi at dawn on the last day, contributes to an all-round successful stay in this beautiful city.

I loved the place for its amazing sea view. My apartment was on the 4th floor, with a large terrace overlooking the sea. It was worth going up the narrow staircase which could be better lighted at night. The staff was welcoming. The breakfast was simple but of good quality. The apartment was spacious and the bed very confortable. I don't recommend the first floor apartment which is a duplex but is quite dark and above the cafe. They don't clean the apartment on a daily basis. Excellent value for the rate and perfectly located.
