I absolutely loved my cookery class with Edwina at the Anima Gardens as part of a yoga retreat. Edwina was so engaging and shared her knowledge and skills with such joy and generosity. The food we prepared with her and some lovely local women was delicious and a real highlight of my trip. Thank you SO much Edwina I hope to return 🙏

House of Fusion is truly a gem! The ambiance of the Riad was beautiful, and Edwina's hospitality made us feel right at home. Every dish was a masterpiece, showcasing the rich flavours of Morocco. The attention to detail and the passion behind each creation were evident with every bite.
The Tasting Room menu was well put together, offering us a range of delicious dishes that left us wanting more. And of course, delicious local wine too! Edwina's knowledge and enthusiasm for the local cuisine added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening.
Based on this delightful experience, I'm certain that Edwina's other offerings are equally exceptional. I wholeheartedly recommend House of Fusion to anyone visiting Marrakesh. It's an experience not to be missed!

The 8 course cooking class could was an amazing experience! It was truly the highlight of our 3 week trip to Morocco. Edwina is a gem - amazing chef, funny and and an wonderful hostess. Her Riad was built to teach cooking classes so it's the perfect setup.
When we arrived we discussed what to make - which was great. We chose meat, fish and veggies we liked. After deciding on the menu, we got a lesson in Arabic so that we could speak to the merchants at the market and get the ingredients. That was great!
We prepared the food with the help of Edwina and her staff - learned a ton! I'm still amazed that we made 8 dishes - each with a lot of spices and nuances and Edwina never referred to a recipe! We even learned how to properly brew Moroccan Mint Tea - the best we had! Edwina is fun and quirky and made the whole experience a lot of fun.
We sat down to eat and everything was delicious! From the eggplant to the carrots - the flavors and textures were incredible!
Afterwards, Edwina took us to the spice market so we could buy spices to take home. We went to local places that tourists would never find. We were so happy to stock up and the prices were incredible. Edwina sent us all of the recipes so we can make all of these wonderful dishes at home:).
Highly recommend!
