We stayed two nights at the Riad, the first and last of our seven-day trip to the Sahara desert. We arrived at the Riad without knowing anything about it, and what a surprise! we could not have stayed in a better place.
Its location is very central, perfect to discover the hypnotic maze of the old Marrakech. The rooms are really nice and cosy, the details of the place are so charming. The food was outstanding!! all made from scratch with fresh ingredients. The traditional breakfast, included in the price, is very complete - a mix of cold and hot dishes, fruit and coffee. The dinner is not included but it is absolutely worth to pay for!! Each dish was tastier than the one before.
They were very helpful and tried to accommodate to our needs (they even took us to the airport on our last day!). Since the first moment we step into the Riad we felt like we were home, like we were all a big family. Their happiness and great service made of our stay perfect.
We highly recommend it! we are definitely coming back on our next visit to Morocco!

Riad 34 is a good base to explore Medina and Marrakech.
Our trip was made special by the Riad Manager, Abdu, who went out of his way to make our trip so enjoyable.
The Riad itself is very clean and comfortable. Be prepared that the sound proofing of the rooms isn't great and not all en-suites have doors. The WiFi was upgraded during our stay.
Final thing is to book your taxi from the airport via the Riad. Tourists tend to be overcharged (although not around Marrakech itself) for the ride in from the airport where you are delivered into the hands of a "guide" who demanded €20 for a 2 mins walk.
Abdu arranged for us to be picked up directly from the Riad for our day trips and for our return trip which was great.
I'll definitely stay here again.

Booked two weeks ago - booking confirmed. No reply to six requests by email, website and phone for airport transfer, so arranged my own. Manager tried to con me by demanding I pay twice, despite failing to respond to any of my requests. Upon arrival, my booking was mysteriously cancelled, leaving me and my partner in the street with our suitcases.
The manager tried to con me a second time by fobbing me off with other substandard accommodation (typical Moroccan bait and switch tactic). Had to find my own accommodation elsewhere in the end.
Dealing with Riad 34 is a thoroughly nerve wracking experience you would not want to go through!
