Riad Malhoun

I wanted to give my wife a memorable trip for her 40th birthday. This Riad met all our expectations. Welcome, location, rooms, cleanliness, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, services... everything of an exceptional level! SPA, hammam, and poolside dinners with local dishes contributed to making this experience extraordinary.

Riad Melhoun is very beautiful and well located, the staff is friendly, so not much to complain about but… for the price I paid, I expected better. The “suite” was much smaller than the term suggests. In fact, I have stayed many times in “rooms” that were quite a bit larger than that. I understand the historic nature of the building represents a limit to how big the rooms can be, but then they should use the term “larger room,” not suite. There were also some upkeep issues that, while not terrible, were rather disappointing in that price range. In short, nice property but completely overpriced. I stayed at another Riad that was 90% as good for much less money.
