Riad Opale

Fantastic everything, would come back without hesitation. Beautiful central pool, well decorated rooms, good breakfast. It is hidden, hard to find it 10 min from the Square and the Souk, but it is good area. It also has a roof terrace, for lounging

Approach to Riad rather disappointing but once inside the welcome was warm and friendly. At once felt at home. During our stay the staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Especially Abdel manager, Hassin and cook Fatia. ( not sure of spelling) Breakfast was fine yogurt, freshly squeezed orange juice, selection of home cooked bread and jams mint tea or coffee. We ate dinner one evening and it was more flavoursome than other restaurants we ate in Bed rooms were small and not much cupboard space. Very dark definitely wanted more light, bed very comfy. Felt safe and everywere clean. Roof terrace a bonus. Easy walking to square and sites. As long as you are not wanting a modern sanitised hotel this Riad is great. Best thing by far is staff. Just back from riad opal. A lovely quaint hotel. Very authentic Bedroom was lovely & towels changed daily Abdul & & all his staff are fantastic & cannot do enough for you. Good location in Old Town, only around a ten minute walk
