Riad Zahr

A very pleasant stay in this riad run by a French couple: the premises are spacious, whether it be the common areas or the rooms, and the pool is very pleasant — even if the sea is not far away. The dinner was more Spanish than Moroccan (we had chosen half-board and therefore had a specific menu) but on the other hand, the breakfast is excellent and very complete. The owners are on-site and do not hesitate to chat and inquire about our well-being; it is very appreciated.

The Riad feels authentic. With a lovely pool, bar and dinner (though we didn’t eat). Breakfast was ample and fresh. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Although the room was spacious and fine for a couple of nights, it did feel with just a little care it could be so much better. Bathroom and Shower really dark and shower head placed so it goes up in the air. Curtain ties broken and old looking. Lots of old looking covers and throws. Deck chairs with bird poo. Really small details that could be easily replaced just to freshen the place up. Everything is cleaned daily, not suggesting it isn’t & it was still good value for money.

Beautiful riad, clean and with very welcoming and helpful staff. It is very close to the ocean and relatively near the city center. The room is acceptable (a small detail, there is a lack of a hairdryer in each room) and more toiletries are needed. We loved the meal and the breakfast. It was too cool to use the pool, but the place is nice. I really recommend this riad.
