Kasbah Tizimi

Unfortunately, I am very disappointed by this hotel. The welcome is not warm. The night I arrived, the bar was broadcasting a football match: the atmosphere was very masculine, and everyone smoked, which made the space not at all pleasant. Upstairs, the smell of cigarettes was very strong, even in my room, which is particularly disturbing. Moreover, the sound insulation is very bad: I could clearly hear my neighbor snoring at night. The bathroom, on the other hand, is very aging and gives the impression of lack of cleanliness. I would not recommend this establishment, especially for gazelles wishing to rest in good conditions before the rally!

Hotel is not well located for sight seeing but is an interesting Moroccan style hotel. Interior walkways and pool area were very nice with good furniture at the pool. Room was okay for us but many others in our group had issues and had to be re located....ie : no hot water, TV not working , missing or non operating hair dryer etc. Bed was okay but HVA unit howled so loud sleeping with it on was impossible so turned it off and room was too cold. Dining room area was nice with good buffet dinner but under supplied breakfast and limited items.

Hotel is situated at the edge of the town, about 5-10 minute walk to the centre of the town, with a large open patch of wasteland opposite. The rooms are quite large, with large solid wood made table, bench and 1 child sized chair. No kettle or bottled water are in the rooms, with an old fashioned key to open your door. Quite a few of our party had issues with a/c, our TV didn’t show any channels and I did some plumbing work to get the flusher to work on the toilet. I believe it is about £50 average room rate, but was booked as part of a tour. The evening meal was a choice of 2 dishes for a 3 course meal and all drinks had to be paid for. The breakfast buffet was pretty meagre, no omelette, so essentially a coffee and a pastry. The pool looked nice, loungers and tables were set around it, but is spoiled by the number of smokers outside. There is also a small shop by the entrance.
