Palais du Desert

Hotel neglected, zero maintained, old / dirty carpet in front of the room, food at the buffet cold and tasteless, garden large but completely unkempt / lots of weeds, no towels by the pool, loungers dirty Overall not recommended. Service ok, but cannot compensate for the many careless details

Outside the dusty downtown area of Erfoud this hotel is an oasis of calm. There are 2 beautiful pools, a restaurant, and spacious rooms. The staff seems to read your mind they are so helpful! The rooms have everything you need, and lots of lovely extras. Importantly the beds are very comfortable. I also liked all the windows after all those dark riads. FYI. There’s alcohol available in the fridge.

A true jewel in the heart of the desert, the Desert Palace in Erfoud offers a refined hotel experience, supported by a high level of service and a unique atmosphere. An essential reference in the region.
