We found the experience very relaxing and we’re pleased with the service we received. We were gonna pay for a bigger hotel but chose this after seeing the reviews and thought we’d give it a go. We are really glad with the staff and how respectful and clean it was.

As a loyal customer of this establishment for several years, just like several members of my family who have stayed there many times, I am unfortunately very disappointed by this stay. The hotel has a good location and the room was clean. The receptionists were friendly and did their best despite their lack of decision-making power. The establishment is indeed aging in some aspects, but that is absolutely not what motivates my opinion. Upon arrival, I was astonished to discover a hotel under construction, just a few minutes after my check-in, once the lodging taxes were paid along with the additional charges for the two extra nights added due to the changes in my return flight. After a tiring journey, I was particularly surprised to find this situation without having been informed beforehand. My stay was significantly impacted by major construction work. I was offered a room change, which I accepted despite the inconvenience of having to move all my belongings during my stay. Unfortunately, the noise disturbances continued after this change, as the construction was not limited to my initial room but also affected other parts of the establishment and its surroundings. I asked several times for information about the duration of the construction work to know if I could continue my stay under good conditions. I never received a clear response. A possibility of relocation was mentioned to me verbally but was never confirmed despite my follow-ups. The day before my departure, I still did not know what solution would be implemented. What particularly disappointed me is that after acknowledging the importance of the work, management ultimately downplayed its impact by indicating that it was not significant work and that I was the only one complaining. However, I have numerous photos and videos taken on different days and at various times of the day that fully corroborate the facts reported in this notice and the extent of the disturbances experienced. I was supposed to stay at this establishment for nearly fifteen days. The disturbances forced me to spend a large part of my days outside the hotel, resulting in fatigue, stress, and additional expenses. For several days, Booking indicated that they understood the situation but could not proceed with the refund for the unused nights without the establishment's agreement. It was only on May 22, after I had arrived on May 16, that a solution could be found. I ultimately had to organize my early departure on my own and find another hotel. I also want to clarify that if I had been informed of the extent of the work before my arrival, this situation would probably never have occurred. As a loyal customer of the establishment, I would have fully understood the necessity of carrying out this work. I would have simply postponed my stay to another time or booked another hotel for this occasion before returning later. What hurt me the most is not the existence of the work itself, but the loss of trust that resulted from it. I had come to rest in a place I knew well, in a difficult personal context after the recent death of my father, who was also a former customer of the establishment. I would have appreciated being informed directly and transparently so that I could make my decision with full knowledge of the facts. I have a positive memory of the reception staff, but this experience has deeply undermined the trust I had in this establishment.

I have just returned from a 5 night stay and this hotel is great value for money. Staff in both hotel and cafe were polite and friendly. The hotel is in controlled parking zone so hardly any passing traffic. There is a shop across the road to buy bottled water/ snacks and the bureau de change across the road and around the corner- good rates. The rooms have a fridge freezer of a decent size and a kitchenette area. Our room balcony door (242) did not lock but wasnt a problem for us. The bed mattress is hard but I like that and had great night sleep. Air con worked fine. Breakfast consists of choice of coffee from machine, tea, fresh orange/ beetroot juice. Breads/toast, pastries, Moroccan pancake (thin Crumpet) and a couple of other Moroccan bread type. There are yogurts and fresh fruit salad, fresh dates and honey, jam, laughing cow triangles cheese and processed ham slices. There is also cooked to order scrambled egg or omelette. I had an issue with a trip I booked from GYG and receptionist was very helpful trying to contact the local company's for me. They also booked taxi to take us to airport.
