Kasbah Isfoula

We stayed at Kasbah Isfoula for one night as part of a small group. The property is probably better described as a guesthouse rather than a small hotel. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by a member of staff who checked us in, carried our bags, and later gave a demonstration on how to cook a tagine. He was friendly, personable, and clearly very hardworking. Our room was a family room—clean, basic, and comfortable, though fairly simple with no extras such as tea/coffee facilities or a room safe. The evening meal was adequate, but breakfast the following morning was disappointing. Both the quality of the food and the level of service fell short of expectations. As our tour operator had described this as one of the best places to stay in the area, we arrived with fairly high expectations, which unfortunately were not fully met. That said, it’s possible we may have experienced it on an off day. Overall, an average stay with friendly service but room for improvement, particularly with breakfast and consistency.

I thought this was the most quaint hotel of my 2 weeks in Morocco! While rooms are small they are well appointed! The location is great and the space is quiet! Each room is named for movies shot in the town! The staff is lovely and breakfast was sufficient! Highly recommended!

This hotel was arranged by the travel agency as part of a 12-day tour across Morocco. We were very pleased when we arrived. The hotel is lovely. The service is outstanding and our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It was bought, and is managed, by a married team of stunt performers. They have appeared in many famous films and, we didn't meet the husband, but the wife is delightful.
