Ramada Encore Tangier

Our stay at Ramada Encore by Wyndham Tangier was a very bad experience overall. I stayed there with my wife. The night reception staff were very kind and helpful, but unfortunately the morning reception was not good at all. There was no telephone in the room to contact reception, which I find very unacceptable and unprofessional for a hotel of this category. The room was not clean, poorly maintained, and there was a strong smell of tobacco smoke everywhere, including inside the room. Noise also made it difficult to rest. Because of these issues, we did not even have breakfast. Overall, we did not feel well treated as guests. I do not recommend this hotel, especially for couples or non-smokers. We will not return.

A big Bravo 10/10 to the hard-working and professional kitchen staff. They were running everywhere to provide an amazing service for breakfast. And whenever something run out they provide it in less than 1 minute. (a special mention to the man with the white chef hat, he is professional, helpful and hard working). What we didn’t like : The room is so small and the curtains are so dirty. There was dust on the sofa. The towels weren’t clean enough. The hallway carpet is so ugly and dirty. The water goes all the way to the door while taking a shower. The rolling toilet paper MUST be new not USED. You must mention that you are not RESPONSIBLE for your own parking lot. The hotel’s decor relied heavily on the colour red which I found it depressing and negatively impacted my mood. It’s better to choose calming and cheerful colours such as blue/beige/ grey. Lowering the mirror that’s above the table will be much better, many women, including my self, prefer to do hair/ makeup while sitting in a chair rather than standing. The pool wasn’t open in the morning which is a bad thing, it should be cleaned early not at 11 AM. High price for a low quality.
