Mingalar Garden Resort

Quirky cabins set around and on water with odd platforms as a beds. Comfortable enough but the bathroom was dark and very tired. The food however was very good served on waterside decks and the service was also very good. As always in Myanmar the staff are helpful and full of smiles.

Quiet and Fresh You can feel the nature: everything is green. Fresh air flowing over the lake Bangalows are immersed in trees and surrounded by lake, both natural and man-made. Rooms are well renovated, neat and tidy although it has been built many years ago. The view from our room is excellent. Mini private garden is amazing that can be seen through glass from bed. Wifi is not good, but we got more time to feel the nature. It would be better to have a swimming pool. Breakfast is excellent, many famous myanmar traditional snacks and meal(Pyay Hta Min Thote).

This is a review of the restaurant at this resort and not of the hotel itself.I dined here just once last September-2019.To be positive,the food was good-freshly prepared and delivered piping hot to the table...The staff were friendly too and service was prompt...However the table cloth was dirty and in need of being changed...I found this offputting....Nevertheless,I would be happy to return to this restaurant...I believe the dining experience is worth 8 out of 10.
