An outstanding resort with beautiful rooms, a pool, spa services and delicious food. The staff were wonderful and the manager makes a point of talking to the visitors every day. The resort is right on the beach and it’s lovely to sit in the beach side bar and watch the sun go down.

An outstanding resort with the most spectacular views of the beach. Attentive and friendly staff yet respectful of our personal space while we relaxed. We arrived as the only guests at the resort as it is experiencing the effect of the state being cut off with roads closed. So currently we are technically in a private resort with a perfect location and a stunning beach to ourselves. The management have gone above and beyond to make us welcome and everything has been perfect. We extended our stay by an extra three nights as it’s just so relaxing here. Thank you to all of the staff here that have made our stay so special. We will be back next April after we finish our work In Yangon. We wish you all the best and pray that you have guests coming back in asap 🙏🏻🥰 as it’s the perfect resort on this beach. X Mannion family

I loved everything about my stay at Bayview - the beach resort. I made my reservation for the hotel rooms via Expedia and found that Expedia wouldn't sell me a flight to get there from Yangon. No problem. Hotel management handled everything and secured my flights. When I was worried I would be double-billed by Expedia. No problem. Hotel management handled everything and made sure I wasn't. When I lost my debit card, and worried how I would pay my bill, hotel management trusted me to get something figured out before checkout. My compliments to front desk manager Myint and assistant manager, Nimit. The beach is drop dead gorgeous and there was hardly anybody there. The food was outstanding, especially the breakfasts with fresh papaya, eggs benedict, and smoked barracuda. Every morning had a different Burmese soup offered like Mohinga, Rakhine Mohinga, or Chicken Soup with glass noodles. Yummy! Evenings watching the sunset at the Sunset Bar while eating grilled barracuda or eating healthy with a garden salad with feta cheese and mustard dressing was so memorable. The spa was terrific too. I indulged in facials, whole body massages, and foot and leg massages and received value for my money. The only infrastructure in the hotel that I would suggest upgrading is the wi-fi. The hotel only offers unsecured wifi. How's a guest supposed to access their bank? W-ifi offered should at least meet the standard of my apartment. Log on once to a secured network and then forget about it for the length of one's stay. Truly, what makes the hotel outstanding besides having the best beach in Myanmar, lovely landscaping, a relaxing spa, exciting, included breakfast buffets, is the quality of the staff. To a person, I felt each person there cared about the experience I was having. When my server at breakfast said, 'see you next year!' I knew it was very likely he would be there to greet me year after year because the people who work at Bayview are long-timers and deeply experienced. Even the guests are long-timers. People come there year-after-year from all over the world. I know Tripadvisor says it isn't safe to go to Ngapali right now, but I got to tell you, the locals were wonderful and so friendly. Not once did I feel in danger. Did I stay out late? No, but if you stay at Bayview, why would you need to stay out late? The beach, sunset, and great food are right there. Rent e-bikes if you go. That was SO FUN!
