Hupin Nyaung Shwe

Nice spacious rooms in a good location. Breakfast not going to over excite anyone but just about acceptable. Wifi password changes every day which is a bit of a nuisance but there are more be important things in life!

This hotel is perfectly fine considering it’s a budget option. The room are what you can expect from a budget hotel - clean, functional but could do with some upgrades. Location is good, you are within walking distance from everything including the jetty. There is 2 ATMs nearby and a super market next to it. You can also find restaurants, laundry and travel agents on the same street. Breakfast is included and it’s alright. WiFi is not.

I stayed at Hupin Hotel Nyaung Shwe as part of a tour and was impressed with the location and quality. The rooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable although it should be noted that I prefer a firm mattress. The buffet breakfast had a variety of Western and Asian dining options and a coffee machine which made reasonable western coffee.
