MOUNT KAILASH

We had a 2 night stay here while in Pokhara, and our room was located in the building across the parking area from reception. The hotel is across the street from Lake Phewa, and our room had views of the nearby mountains from the balcony where we could watch parasailers. The a/c worked great, and we had plenty of space for our luggage. Breakfast was included each morning in the hotel restaurant, and it was nice selection of hot and cold items with an eggs made-to-order station. The street-side bar had a happy hour daily from 5-8pm with seven choices of buy 1, get 1 free cocktails for 600 NPR. The cocktails weren’t that strong, but they did taste good, and we were allowed to sit inside win the air-conditioned restaurant with our drinks.

Nice continental hotel. Very spacious rooms. Swimming pool, sauna and massage. Massages are superb and vigorous!

Stayed for 6 nights with my family and the overall experience can be summed up as awesome. Clean & big rooms; great location by the lake side; very courteous & helpful staff; delicious food; Owner Mr Nareh Dai is always around to ensure the well being & comfort of the guests...had heard a lot about the great Nepali hospitality & experienced the same and more at Hotel Mount Kailash
